College Urban Education
The College Urban Education program is available for college courses and for campus groups. We hope to encourage students to actively learn about the issues surrounding poverty in Denver. Whether through the Game of Life, Penny Game, Food Stamp Challenge, Downtown Denver Walking Tour, or with one of our previously homeless speakers we seek to educate and to empower students with the skills and knowledge to make a difference in the community they live in and the wider world by inspiring hope, transforming lives, and working to end poverty. In our classroom or yours, we offer à la carte programming to fit your needs. Click on one of the links above for more detailed information about each Urban Education activity.
Our curriculum is a great way to explore topics relating to diversity, social justice, poverty, and inclusivity for students of all backgrounds. Whether you are studying social work or business Urban Education is a must for students who wish to learn more about their community!
