Corporate/Adult Urban Education

Everyone can benefit from learning about issues of poverty in their own community. We hope to encourage Corporate/Adult Urban Education groups to challenge their ideas of what poverty looks like and to understand how it effects the people they work with. Participate in the Food Stamp Challenge, serve in a Denver non-profit, or listen to one of our previously homeless speakers in order to better understand the many forms of poverty and to learn how your business or group can realistically make a difference for those living in poverty. Whether Urban Education inspires you to continue to volunteer, invest financially in one of the many non-profits in Denver striving for social justice and change, or work towards community development, we want to empower adult groups to make a difference in their community by inspiring hope, transforming lives, and working to end poverty.
